Cookie Policy
What are cookie files?
A cookie file is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. This allows the site to remember your actions and preferences (for example, your login, language, font size and other display settings) for a certain period of time, so you do not have to enter them again every time you return to the site or move from one page to another. First-party cookies — these are cookie files set by the website you are visiting and only this site can read them. In addition, the site may use external services that also set their own cookie files, known as third-party cookie files. Persistent cookie files — these are cookie files that are stored on your computer and are not automatically deleted when you exit the browser, unlike session cookie files, which are deleted when you exit the browser.
How do we use cookie files?
We mainly use ‘first-party cookies’. These are cookie files that are set and controlled by our website, and not by any external organizations. However, to view some of our pages you will have to accept cookie files from third-party organizations. You can delete or block these cookie files, but if you do so, some functions of the site may not work as intended. These cookie files are used to remember:
- your display settings, such as browsing language, contrast color, font size, device used, search results settings and notification settings;
- your last visit to the website (for statistical purposes) and the three last visited pages (to help our support service if you send a request);
How can you manage cookie files?
Deleting cookie files from your device. You can delete all cookie files that are already on your device by clearing your browser history. This will delete all cookie files from all websites you have visited. However, keep in mind that you may also lose some saved information (for example, saved login data, site settings). Managing cookie files related to a specific site. For more detailed control over cookie files for a specific site, check the privacy and cookie settings in your preferred browser. Blocking cookie files. You can configure most modern browsers so that cookie files are not placed on your device, but then you will most likely have to manually adjust some settings every time you visit a site/page. And some services and functions may not work correctly at all (for example, logging into your profile).
